NCPLH Upgrade to ADPS

We are currently developing a short course which aim of providing learners who have already taken their National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH) with the knowledge required to successfully complete the Award for Designated Premises Supervisors (ADPS) qualification. Updated information regarding this course will be available through our website and our newsletter.

 

We are only able to offer this slightly shorter course to those who have completed their NCPLH training with Beyond the Blue, because we go further during our NCPLH training than the syllabus strictly demands.

 

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept learners onto this course who completed their NCPLH training with other training providers; as we can’t guarantee either the quality of the training or how complete the information given by other training providers is.

 

The process of upgrading (rather than sitting the whole ADPS course) from the NCPLH to the ADPS is possible because we already teach some of the information required for the ADPS qualification during our NCPLH course.

 

How long is the course?

 

5 hours (10.30 - 16.00). The examination takes place at 15.30 on the day of the course.

 

Where and when are the courses run?

 

We run 'open’ courses at our London Waterloo training centre twice a year (or more if there is the demand).

We run group courses (minimum 5 candidates) for clients throughout the UK, either at the client’s own workplace or at one of our established Training Centres.

 

‘In-house’ courses are run at the convenience of our clients, including weekends where required.

Learners requesting a foreign language examination paper (Chinese or Thai) must allow at least 5 working days before the course date when booking.

 

How much does it cost?

 

£130.00 + vat per learner; all inclusive of course handbook, CD-ROM, course materials, tuition, examination & certification. There are No Hidden Extras; everything is covered by the course fee.

 

We provide tea, coffee and water during the course, candidates must provide their own lunch.

 

Where we are training at a client’s premises, we are required to register the training facility with the BIIAB in order to meet our quality assurance standards. We complete this process at no additional cost to the client.
